Cottage Garden Autumn

The cooling temperatures and shorter days signal the end of the heat of summer, which brought riotous growth and  heavy blooms. Autumn has arrived.

Foliage begins to take on dusky tones, and soon the leaves and blooms will be spent.

But for a bit of time,
there is still faded color in the garden.
